Nord Demir: Overview

"Demir" is derived from the Turkish word for "iron," symbolizing durability, toughness, and unwavering determination. This name is often chosen for boys to represent their inner strength and ability to overcome challenges. The Nord Demir, true to its name, is a robust full-size SUV designed to conquer tough terrains while ensuring passenger comfort and safety.


Powered by a dual-fuel PMS/CNG V8 engine rated at 278 hp, the Nord Demir offers versatility with both manual and automatic transmission options. The manual transmission provides enhanced control, while the automatic transmission delivers a luxurious driving experience. Both options feature an all-wheel-drive system, ensuring reliable performance in all conditions.







Available in six colors—white, black, macadamia brown, shimmer grey, sapphire blue, and sunrise red—at no extra cost, the Nord Demir caters to diverse tastes. For wheels, Nord offers four options priced between ₦250,000 and ₦620,000.

The spartan interior is upholstered in black leather. There's a large screen for the entertainment system, beneath which are buttons for the HVAC controls. There are also toggle switches for adjusting the driving dynamics. Keeping in line with the "rugged" theme, there's a big gear selector and a handbrake lever.

The Nord Demir is an excellent choice for those seeking a full-size SUV. It is significantly more affordable than the Toyota Land Cruiser J200 (2007–2020), which it closely resembles. Unlike Toyota's shift to a turbocharged V6, the Demir still offers a V8 engine. Given Nord's reputation for high standards, the Demir is expected to perform reliably and maintain its durability.
